Our Core Team:

James Huntington

James is the Managing Director of Dunelm. He has over 25 years of experience in the ground investigation industry, and he is a certified Chartered Geologist. James is responsible for the strategic direction and development of the company, and he is committed to providing our clients with the best possible service.

Katherine Jones

Katherine is the Geotechnical Director for Dunelm. She has over 12 years of experience in geotechnical investigations, and she is a certified Chartered Geologist and Registered Ground Engineering Professional. Katherine is responsible for providing technical support to the company, and she is committed to providing our clients with accurate and reliable information.

Rob Schofield

Rob is the Geoenvironmental Director for Dunelm. He has over 20 years of experience in geoenvironmental investigations, and he is a certified Chartered Geologist and CL:AIRE Qualified Person for DoW CoP scheme. Rob is responsible for managing the geoenvironmental technical side of the business, and he is committed to providing our clients with the best possible service.

Paul McMann

Paul McMann, the UK and Overseas Operations Director boasts nearly 20 years of site investigation industry experience. Starting as a geologist, he now manages large-scale infrastructure projects and deep drilling. His dedication to operational performance and consistency sets high standards at Dunelm. With a strategic vision, Paul actively pursues innovative solutions, ensuring Dunelm remains at the industry forefront through new systems and implementations.   

Keith Salt

Keith is the Regional Manager for Dunelm in Scotland. He has over 20 years of experience in the ground investigation industry, and he is a certified Chartered Geologist. Keith is responsible for managing the Scottish office and team.  

Chris Jones

Chris is the Regional Manager for Dunelm in Northwest. He has over 15 years of experience in the ground investigation industry, Chris is responsible for managing the northwest office and team as well as the company’s work on the rail network.   

Thomas Leigh

Tom is the Area Manager for Dunelm in the South. He has over 20 years of geotechnical experience in both the ground investigation and consultancy industry. He is responsible for managing the southern office and team.

Ian Newham

Ian is an Associate Director with expertise in Estimating. He has over 15 years of experience in the site investigation industry. Ian is responsible for providing our clients with the most cost-effective solution to their projects. Drawing on his knowledge gained during his extensive career as a site manager he can input this into early contractor engagement and steer your project in the right direction from the outset.    

Cristen Hart

Cristen Hart is an Associate Director with expertise in Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) and Human Resources (HR). With almost 10 years in the site investigation industry, she brings valuable skills to the team. Cristen ensures the highest HSEQ standards are met, fostering a positive work culture and employee satisfaction. Her dedication and knowledge make her an invaluable asset in maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. 

Alistair Huntly

Alistair Huntly is the Drilling Manager, boasting over 30 years of industry experience. Starting as a Lead Driller and advancing to a Driller Trainer, Alistair has demonstrated his expertise and commitment throughout his career. In his current role, he oversees drilling operations and regularly visits sites across the UK. Alistair’s extensive knowledge and hands-on approach guarantee precise and efficient execution of drilling projects. His leadership and expertise make him a highly valuable asset to Dunelm, contributing significantly to the company’s outstanding reputation for excellence in the field.  

James Forsythe

James is the Financial Director of Dunelm. He has over 30 years of experience. James has a strong financial background and has a proven track record of success in helping a business to develop. He is a strategic thinker and is able to identify and capitalise on new opportunities.

Sarah Grieves

Sarah is an Associate Director with expertise in geoenvironmental investigation and consultancy. She has worked in the field of ground investigation for over 18 years, and is a certified Chartered Geologist. With the advice Sarah offers, our customers are provided with accurate and reliable data. Sarah is responsible for managing and directing our engineering team to ensure they acquire the necessary skills to progress.
