This is the Privacy Statement for DUNELM GEOTECHNICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL LIMITED, Registration number 5048973, issued in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

This Privacy Notice explains how we handle your personal data including our approach, your privacy rights and how the law protects you. Your personal data is any information relating to you from which you can be identified.

How We Collect Personal Data

  • When you make a website enquiry, subscribe to our website or inform us of any problems with our site;

  • Through CCTV which may be in operation at our office or on siteworks

Visitors to our Website

We use a third-party service, Google Analytics, to collect standard log information and details of any visitor behaviour patterns.  We use this to identify the number of visitors to different pages on our website.  The information is processed in a way which does not identify anyone.  Only information which is collected through our enquiry form will collect personal details.

We use a third-party service to help maintain the security and performance of the Dunelm website. Our website is hosted at WordPress.com and run by N E Web.

  • Contact details such as name, address, contact telephone number (mobile and landline) and email address;
  • Enquiries for more information about Dunelm’s services;
  • Contractual details about the products or services we provide to you;

We must have a legal reason to process your personal information.  Your information will usually be processed to meet our contract with you or to meet our legitimate interest to facilitate your interest in our business.  On the rare occasion where your consent is required, this will be communicated to you at the point of collection.

  • We may need to confirm your identity and check your details on Companies House before we provide products or services to you or your business. We may also share your personal information as needed to help detect fraud and money-laundering risks.  We may use solicitors and other advisors for these purposes.  We may allow law enforcement agencies to access your personal data.  This is to support their duty to detect, investigate, prevent and prosecute crime.
  • We may disclose your personal data to third parties in the event that we sell any part of our business, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective buyer of such business or assets. If any part of our business is acquired by a third party, personal data held by us may be transferred.
